My fellow Historiographers: Below, for your information and action, are CLO puzzles 1 and 2 for dissimination. Please distribute to your church papers/magizines, etc. Puzzle 1 has been corrected to reflect that Dr. Coleman (#16) was the editor of the AME Review and NOT the Christian Recorder. Otherwise puzzles 1 and 2 reflect situations as they are/were and are ready for everyone’s knowledge. Thank you for your input and for our Honorary Historiographer, Jyzelle Steplight, the YAR in the first district, for pulling them both together. This fits right in with what President Makiti's goals are in terms of this office getting the word out about people who toiled, labored and sacrificed for this Lay Organization and the AME denomination.
The editor for The Christian Recorder and News Digest informed me yesterday via email that puzzle number 2, showcasing the CLO Women's History Month personalities will appear in both publication this month and puzzle number 1 will appear in both in April. Thank you again Sis. Steplight and Historiographers in Episcopal Districts 1 - 20 for the teamwork in providing information and getting the word out. We have one more piece, Did You Know, to send out before the CLO Execitive Board meeting in April. Please respond to my appeal for information. I need 8 more pieces of facts about our church folk who made/are making a difference. Let's do this!!!
